About me

My name is Donn Tarris.

I started the first imagesetting service bureau in western Canada offering laser imagesetting services to graphic designers and agencies in 1985 and from there went on to support and train Mac users on their use of hardware and software. I have worked for Apple computer resellers and have been an authorized Apple Value Added Reseller in my past.

I have designed custom FileMaker Pro databases for Revy, Trade Business Forms, Crown Creative Packaging, Laser’s Edge, Canada Wide Media and Fulford Certification. I provided training in electronic prepress to Hemlock Printers and WCB Printshop in the 1990s. I developed many custom applications using FileMaker Pro database software.
